Description

7 Miles Post is a late 19th-century milepost. It features a cast iron plate attached to a stone post with a rounded top. The plate displays the following inscriptions: "HUDDERSFIELD & NEW HEY ROAD SLAITHWAITE JUNCTION HUDDERSFIELD 6 MILES 7 MILES ROCHDALE 12 MILES." In smaller letters, it also reads: "BRAYSHAW & BOOTH MAKERS LIVERSEDGE."
