Description

10 Miles Post is a late 19th-century milepost located on New Hey Road in Marsden. It features a cast iron plate affixed to a stone post with a rounded top. The plate is inscribed with the following: "HUDDERSFIELD & NEW HEY ROAD JUNCTION HUDDERSFIELD 3 MILES 10 MILES ROCHDALE 9 MILES." Additionally, in smaller letters, it reads: "BRAYSHAW & BOOTH MAKERS LIVERSEDGE."
