Description

Broadhead is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a single-depth plan with two storeys and three bays, along with a small parallel range to the rear left and a 20th-century garage to the left.

The first bay has quoins and a door to the right with a dressed surround, along with five and six-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows that include king mullions. The second and third bays, likely built slightly later, have a central door with a dressed surround, flanked by three and two-light windows on each floor, similar to those in the first bay. The house also features gable chimney stacks and two-light gable-end windows.
