Description

Newgate House is a farmhouse that dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is part of a farm range. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys. On the south elevation, the ground floor includes a 10-light stone mullioned window, although one light is blocked, and a 2-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a 5-light stone mullioned window and a 10-light stone mullioned window that has been altered to create one 3-light window and one 4-light window.
