Description
Yew Tree is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with mid-19th century and recent alterations. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a pitched tiled roof with bargeboards. The building has moulded footstones and is two storeys high.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes a central doorway with a stone surround and a small stone cornice above it. There is a 4-light stone mullioned window on each side of the doorway, with each light having a casement with a rounded head. The first floor features a central large window, which may have been a former loading door, with a pronounced sill and stone surrounds. On either side of this central window, there are also 4-light stone mullioned windows, with window casements that have rounded heads.
