II* Incorporates former No 6. C17. Good traditional stone house with stone roof. Three storeys. Three gables with finials to main south front. Irregular windows (some very wide) with transomes to ground storey and various dripmoulds some with labels. Stepped, thhree-light windows to gables. Arched doorway with carved and inscribed tablet over. Addition to west probably C18 with plain mullioned windows. Shop to west return. East return plain. Irregular rear of some interest though altered. Lintel to door of No 4 inscribed H over T E and dated 1668.

Interior has stone chimney piece in one ground floor room with slight carving and date 1668. Said to be three others of similar character.
