Description
No. 1, Park Nook is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of thin coursed Elland flags, topped with a hipped corniced pantile roof. The house comprises a two-storey front and rear wing, along with a lean-to outshut with a catslide roof. The front elevation features a central doorway with monolithic jambs, and recessed, flat-faced mullioned windows. A six-light window is located on the left-hand side, with two mullions having been removed, over which is a five-light window where two mullions have been removed. The right-hand bay contains an eight-light window, from which three mullions have been removed along with some solid lights, above which are windows of four and three lights respectively.
