Description
Milestone located to the east of the Sportsman's Arms at the junction of Eastwood Road, dating from the early 19th century. It is a single rectangular stone featuring three engraved faces. The east face reads "TO BURNLEY 7½ MILES," the north face states "TO CROSS STONE 2 MILES," and the west face indicates "TO HALIFAX 11¾ MILES."
