Description
Cally Hall is an early 19th-century laithe-house built from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar quoins and a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and is designed as a single-cell house. The doorway features monolithic jambs, and there are flat-faced mullioned windows with five lights on the ground floor (one mullion has been removed) and eight lights on the first floor. A semi-circular arched cart entry is also present. The barn has been extended in the late 19th century. There is one stack located at the ridge where the house and barn meet. Cally Hall is considered a good example of its type.
