Description

Stile House is a mid-18th century house located on Stile Road in Todmorden. It is constructed of watershot masonry with a stone slate roof. The house has two storeys and features quoins. It comprises two cells, with double-chamfered mullioned windows throughout; these include windows of six lights and windows of three lights, all with matching overlights. A gable entry provides access to a doorway with monolithic jambs. Two dressed gable stacks are present.
