Description

Nos 76 and 78 on Old Main Street is a house that has been converted into a shop with a flat above. It was likely built in the mid-19th century and is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features four windows on the first floor. On the left side, there is a large shop window flanked by wooden pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. To the right, there is a two-light flat-faced mullioned window and a doorway with monolithic jambs. The first floor includes two single-light windows and two two-light windows, all fitted with modern small-paned glazing. The left gable has a coped top with a finial, and there is a central ridge stack.
