Description

Nos 7 and 9, Sal Royd Road, are probably two cottages built around 1800. They are constructed of large sandstone “bricks” with a stone slate roof and feature shaped brackets to the eaves. The windows are renewed glazing bar sash windows set within squared surrounds. A squared jamb doorway is present on the left-hand side, and a doorway has been blocked on the right. There is a roughcast single-bay wing set back. The buildings are included in the listing for group value.
