Description
This is a pair of cottages located at 2 and 3 Chapel House Buildings, Low Moor. They were likely built in the mid to late 18th century, although they may incorporate elements of an earlier structure. The cottages are constructed of coursed gritstone with large quoins. They have a stone slate roof and corniced chimneys. Each cottage originally had a two-light, formerly four-light, square mullion window set within squared surrounds. There are squared jamb doorways. Group value is present due to their context within the surrounding area.
