Description

Number 43 on Terry Road is a mid-18th century cottage, or possibly older. This two-storey building is constructed from coursed gritstone and is positioned at a right angle to the path. It features a stone slate roof and a corniced chimney. The cottage has large, long gritstone dressed quoins. On the first floor, there are single and two-light windows, while the ground floor has three-light windows, all with square mullions set in squared surrounds. The doorway has plain squared jambs. Additionally, there is a blocked two-light mullioned window in the west gable end.
