Description

This is a pair of cottages located at Royd Field, dating from around 1800. They are constructed from coursed, squared stone and feature a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with one bay each. They have quoins and paired central doorways that share common centre jambs and deep lintels. Each cottage has a three-light, flat-faced mullion window on both floors to the left and right. The gables are adorned with copings on moulded kneelers, and there are rendered gable stacks. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut, and a small rendered gabled addition is present on the right return.
