Description
This is a group of four cottages located on the north side of Colne Road in Oakworth, Keighley. They were likely built in the early 19th century, with two distinct phases of construction. The cottages are constructed from roughly-layered millstone grit, and have stone slate roofs. Each cottage is two stories high with one window on the first floor. The windows have simple stone surrounds and flat-faced mullions. Each has a door positioned on the right-hand side, and a three-light window to the left and above. Numbers 16 and 20 retain their original panelled doors. An ashlar coping is present on the right-hand gable. Each cottage has chimney stacks positioned to the left.
