Description
The building consists of a barn and cottage attached to the rear of the Old White Horse, located at the junction with the Ireland Bridge parapet. It dates from the mid to late 18th century, with some windows added in the mid 19th century. The structure is made of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. It has one storey and a basement, divided into four bays. The left end has quoins. The façade includes a doorway with tie-stone jambs, a three-light flat-faced mullioned window, and a segmental-arched cart entry with skewbacks. There is also a blocked doorway with tie-stone jambs leading to the basement, which has an inserted window above. Each floor has a three-light flat-faced mullioned window, although the basement window lacks a mullion. There is an inserted window on each floor as well. A gable stack is located on the left side of the building. This structure is included for its group value.
