Description

This building is an outbuilding and garage that adjoins Croft House to the southwest, originally listed as an outbuilding and barn. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed from coursed stone with a stone slate roof. The structure has two storeys, with the barn and cottage being taller than the stable and mistal, which consist of two bays each. The building features quoins and flat-faced mullion windows with glazing bars set in plain surrounds.

On the left side, the stable and mistal have two board doors in plain stone surrounds with interrupted jambs. Above these doors, there is a two-light window and an inserted single-light window, along with round-headed slit vents and a skylight. A weather vane is positioned on the left gable.

On the right side, the barn and cottage have a segmental-arched cart entrance with quoins and voussoirs to the left, and 20th-century garage doors to the right. Above the entrance, there is a central triangular pattern of pigeon holes with ledges, flanked by three-light windows that contain central sashes. The building is topped with a central corniced ridge stack.
