Description
No. 5 Croft Road is a house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features one window on the first floor, with two additional windows located at the rear. The entrance, which is slightly right of centre, consists of two steps leading up to a boarded door framed by a plain stone surround with interrupted jambs. Above the door, there is a single-light window. A shouldered stack is positioned to the left of the entrance. At the rear of the house, each floor has two three-light, flat-faced mullion windows set in plain stone surrounds. There is a single-storey lean-to extension to the left and a privy block, which is not of special interest. The house is included in the register for its group value.
