Description

A group of cottages, likely originally one house, dating from the mid to late 18th century. The building is constructed of stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has two windows on the first floor facing the west front. The west front features quoins. A central 20th-century glazed door sits within a plain stone surround and is accessed by a later open porch. Flanking the door on both floors are three-light, flat-faced mullion windows set within projecting stone surrounds. The roof has two ridge stacks. The south front has a door leading to No. 2, garage doors to the right, and several windows—one two-light and two three-light, the rightmost being 20th-century replacements. On the first floor of the south front is a six-light window with a king mullion in the centre, and a two-light window to the right, where the mullion has been removed.
