Description
Laurel Bank is a house dating to 1669. It is constructed of coursed stone with a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high with two windows to the first floor. A chamfered plinth is visible. The central doorway is from the 20th century, set within a stone surround with a dropped keystone. It has an overlight above. Two double-chamfered mullioned and transomed windows are present on each floor, although the transoms and most mullions have been removed. A continuous hollow-moulded hoodmould extends over the ground-floor windows. A central stack is also present. At the rear of the house, a doorway is inscribed with the date '16 T.B.69' and double-chamfered mullion windows are visible. The left return displays a double-chamfered mullion window in the gable, featuring four lights with an additional two lights above the central pair.
