Description

This is a row of five buildings, numbered 52 to 56, located on Hanover Square. The buildings date to around 1840 and are similar in style to numbers 7 to 17 on the square, forming part of the approach to it. They are constructed of coursed gritstone and each building has two windows. The doorways feature cornices supported by console brackets. The buildings are included on the heritage list for their contribution to the group value of the square.
