These are a row of five 18th-century buildings located at 53-57 Ivy Lane. The buildings are constructed of red brick and are two storeys high, featuring a half-hipped roof with five dormers. All five buildings retain their original sash windows with multiple panes of glass. The ground floors have simple, cambered-top sashes, with shopfronts present in numbers 56 and 57, along with simple doorcases. The buildings are listed at Grade II for their group value. They are part of a larger group which also includes numbers 40A to 45, 51, 51A, 53 to 61, and 63.
