Description
Nos 51 and 51A on Ivy Lane are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and are finished in stucco. They feature a half-hipped tiled roof with two hipped dormers. There are four sash windows in total, all retaining their glazing bars. The entrance to No 51 has a simple doorcase, while No 51A has a left side doorcase with a half-hood supported by moulded console brackets, along with an early 19th-century shopfront. These buildings, along with Nos 40A to 45, No 53, No 61, and No 63, form a cohesive group.
