Description

This is a row of early 19th-century buildings on South Street. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a two-color washed finish. They rise to three storeys and feature two ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Each building has a front door with molded panels and a semi-circular fanlight above. Later shop fronts have been inserted. Original rainwater heads and downpipes remain. Buildings number 46 to 54 (even) are considered a group.
