Description

This is an early 19th-century range of six buildings, numbered 7 to 17 Boston Road. The buildings are constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and three chimney stacks. They have two storeys and six windows each. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars, set within segmental arches on both storeys. A modern window has been added to the ground floor of number 15. The doorways feature segmental arches, with doors consisting of six fielded panels, two of which are glazed, at numbers 11, 13, and 17; the remaining doorways have modern doors. Inset foot scrapers are present. Numbers 7 to 37 (odd) and number 41 form a notable group.
