62 And 62A, South Street

Nos 62 and 62A on South Street are buildings from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are rendered with a stone plinth and feature a pitched slate roof with red brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys tall and have an eaves cornice made of diagonally placed bricks. There are five ranges of sash windows with glazing bars, along with one blocked window on the first floor. The property includes a 19th-century shop front with a cornice above it and an adjacent door, as well as a modern door with an elliptically arched fanlight.
