Description
No. 75 Manningham Lane is part of a terrace of three-storey sandstone ashlar townhouses built between 1830 and 1840. The terrace is arranged in pairs and steps up the slope. Key architectural features include plinths, sill bands, and moulded projecting eaves courses. The houses have stone slate roofs topped with corniced chimneys. Each house has three windows, although the sashes no longer have glazing bars and are set beneath thin lintels. Notably, No. 2 has a modern shop front added to the ground floor. The doors are either four or six moulded panels, topped with rectangular fanlights and surrounded by architrave with cornices and swept weathered cappings.
