Description

This is a group of four buildings, numbers 15 to 18, located on Lower Street. Dating to the 17th century, they are constructed with rubble walls faced in rough cast or cement. The roofs are a mix of Cotswold stone and Welsh slate. The buildings are characterised by two gables and three storeys, featuring various two-light stone mullion windows with dripmoulds. Number 17 incorporates an 18th-century bay shop-style window. A date inscription reading 1695 is visible on number 18. Numbers 15 to 18 form a group with numbers 8 and 11 to 19 on the north side of the street, as well as numbers 43 to 50 on the south side.
