Description

Nos 8 and 9 on Lower Street are 17th-century buildings constructed of rubble with a modern slate roof. They feature two gables and rise to three storeys. The properties have various two-light stone mullion windows with drip moulds. No 9 is faced in roughcast, while No 8 boasts good stone chimney stacks and has had a modern shopfront added. Together, Nos 8 and 9, along with Nos 11 to 19, form a group with Nos 43 to 50 on the opposite side of the street.
