Description

Melbourne House is a late 18th-century building located on Loher Street. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a pitched slate roof with one ashlar chimney. The house stands three storeys tall and has a blocking course at the roofline. Above the ground floor, there is a plain stringcourse. The façade includes three sets of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a six-panelled door topped with a semi-circular fanlight and a vaulted hood that has a trefoil motif in the rail.
