Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on Swan Street. It is constructed of painted brick in a Flemish bond pattern with a Welsh slate and renewed pantile roof. The main block is three storeys high and three bays wide, with a two-storey wing extending to the rear left. A central glazed entrance door is set within a wooden doorcase featuring consoles and a cornice, and it has a margin-glazed overlight. The outer bays and the first floor have projecting stone sills to sash windows with glazing bars, all with flat brick arches above. The second floor has later casement windows, also with sills and flat arches. The eaves are dentilled brick, and there are rendered end stacks.
