Description
The Gibson graveslab, dating from around 1729, is located approximately 30 metres west of the south porch of the Church of All Saints. It is a flat sandstone slab featuring a simple moulded surround. The slab commemorates James Gibson of Kexbrough, who died in 1729 at the age of 38, and his wife Susannah, who passed away in 1733 at the age of 42. There are additional inscriptions dated 1845 and 1853.
