Description
St Peter's Cottages is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It likely dates from the late 18th century and was raised to two storeys in the 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick in Flemish bond below a string course and in English garden wall bond above, topped with a 20th-century pantile roof.
The structure features a central entry and has two storeys with two bays. The entrance includes a 20th-century four-panel door set beneath an elliptical arch, which is flanked by 20th-century fixed windows in enlarged openings. There is a three-course band that was formerly the eaves band. On the first floor, there are two-light Yorkshire sash windows. The end stacks are present, and tumbling-in at the gable end indicates that the building may have originally had a lower roofline.
