3/12 Manor Farmhouse and gate and railings

GV II

House withgate and railings to front. Mid C18 with C19 addition to left and alterations. Brick in English garden wall bond, Welsh slate roof. L-shaped on plan with central-hallway entry to 3-bay main range which has an outshut beneath catslide roof to rear and lower single-bay extension recessed to left. 2 storeys, 4 first-floor windows. Steps to 4-panel door beneath overlight with margin lights flanked by flush 4-pane sashes with band above. All openings beneath segmental arches. First floor: flush 4-pane sashes, the central one being narrower. Dentilled eaves course. Roof hipped to right. Stack to left. C19 extension to left has C20 door and casements and left end stack. Interior: closed string, dogleg column-on-vase staircase. Some H-L and long strap hinges survive to cupboard doors. Gate to front of property has dogbars and fleur-de-lys finials. Railings, also with fleur- de-lys finials, stand on low wall.
