Description

The White Swan Hotel is an 18th-century building located on Fleetgate. It features painted brick construction and hipped pantile roofs. The north wing rises three storeys and has one window on each storey, while the south wing has two storeys with two Venetian windows and one blocked window. The building displays a dentil brick eaves cornice and has a modern public house front on the ground floor, with a figure of a swan on an angle bracket. The north front includes five windows, one of which is blocked, and lacks glazing bars, with the central window flanked by plain pilasters. The ground floor has modern windows.
