The exterior features painted brick with painted ashlar dressings and a hipped and gabled slate roof, which has a single side wall stack and a single ridge stack. The building includes sill bands and dentillated wooden eaves. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range of plain sashes, each with slightly cambered keystone lintels. The central entrance is framed by a wooden Doric portico that includes an entablature, a panelled door, and an overlight. On either side of the entrance are plain sashes that match those above. Inside, there is a dogleg stair with a landing, spindle balusters, and a ramped scrolled handrail.
