Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, located outside a shop on the corner of Hessle Road, dates from around 1930. It is made of cast iron and was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, with construction by various contractors. The kiosk features a square shape with a shallow domed roof and has glazed lettered panels on each side. The side panels and door are adorned with margin light glazing.
