Description

These are a pair of semi-detached houses with an adjoining former stable, dating from around 1840. They were restored and altered in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of painted brick with a stucco front, and have a hipped slate roof with a single ridge and two side wall stacks, one of which is rendered and has a coped top. The detailing includes a plinth, a moulded band at the first-floor window sills, and deep eaves. The two-storey front has a seven-window arrangement. The recessed central bay features two plain sash windows, with doorcases below containing pairs of Doric columns in antis. The left door has a 19th-century door with two vertical panels, while the right door is a later 19th-century half-glazed door. Above the doors, there are plain sash windows. To the left, a slightly recessed, former stable has a first-floor sill band and a coped parapet, with a single plain sash window and a pair of late 20th-century glazed doors on the ground floor.
