Description

This is a road bridge over a drain, built in the late 19th century and restored in the late 20th century. It features a wrought-iron beam supported by cast-iron balustrades and red brick abutments, with ashlar piers and yellow brick flanking walls. The bridge has a cambered span beam with pierced coped balustrades. The square end piers are panelled and sit on pedestals, complete with plinths and corniced caps. The flanking walls are convex curved, with red brick plinths and square brick end piers that have slightly pyramidal caps.
