Description

High Flags Mill is a house, later converted to offices, dating from around 1800. It was altered in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and has a concrete tile roof with two gable stacks. It has a plinth. The two-storey facade has a two-window range with plain sash windows and wooden lintels. A central six-panel door with a panelled recess and overlight is flanked by single, segment-headed, 16-pane sashes. The ground-floor openings have painted splayed lintels. To the right of the main facade is a single-storey office addition. To the left is a four-panel door and overlight, and to the right, two plain sashes, all with segmental heads. The right return features two transomed windows. The building may have been associated with the nearby High Flags Mill, and is now part of that complex.
