House and adjoining outhouse, formerly butcher's shop. Mid C18 with C19 alterations and addition. Coursed rubble, pantile roof. House, 2 storeys and 3 bays; outbuilding, single storey and single bay. House with lobby entry off-centre-hallway entry and outhouse to left. C19 four-panel door with overlight in pilastered doorframe flanked by 16-pane sashes. First floor: dummy window flanked by sashes with glazing bars. All windows have stone sills and channelled wedge lintels with fluted keystones. Stepped eaves course. Hipped roof, banded central stack. Outhouse: stable door with large fixed 6-pane window to right beneath canopy. Plain coped parapet. Interior: principal rafter roof with tusk tenoned purlins. One section of early panelling survives in attic, one panel with a thistle motif.
