Description

No. 5 Finkle Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations and an addition from the 19th century. The building is constructed of limestone rubble, with a brick and rubble extension, topped by a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and features four bays, with a lower extension on the left side. The third bay contains a half-glazed door, which is also present in the extension. The windows are primarily 4-pane sashes, except for the left gable end, which has 2-light Yorkshire sashes. The raised gable ends of the main range exhibit brick tumbling, and there are stacks at both ends and along the ridge.
