Description

House at 144 Whetstone Lane, built around 1840-1850, features stucco over brick with a Welsh slate roof. It has three storeys and three bays, with the entrance located on the left side. The entrance includes an 8-panelled door set within a round archway, flanked by recessed Doric engaged columns and a traceried blind painted fanlight. On the ground floor, there are two round-arched 4-pane sash windows with stressed architraves. Above, there are two-pane sash windows, with blind central windows. The house has stacks at the end walls.
