Description

No. 98 Botanic Road is a house that has been converted into a shop. It likely dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and has been altered over time. The building is constructed of whitewashed brick and has a slate roof, featuring a double-depth single-fronted plan.

The exterior consists of two storeys with a single-window range. At the ground floor, there is a doorway and a rectangular shop window, while above, there is a three-light casement window. A gable chimney is located on the left side of the building.

The interior has not been inspected. This property is part of a group that includes the adjoining No. 96 on the right, as well as Nos. 100 and 102 to the left, and is situated near the Obelisk on the green and the Hesketh Arms to the east.
