Description
A row of four houses located at 98-104 Shellfield Road, Southport, likely built in the later 18th century, although they have undergone alterations over time. The houses appear to be rendered over brick, painted white with the exception of number 98, which is at the right-hand end. They have slate roofs that step up slightly from right to left. The houses are single-depth, with four units each. The exterior features single-story design, and all the openings have been enlarged and altered. The interior has not been inspected. The row forms part of a group of similar houses on Shellfield Road, contributing to the pre-industrial character of the area, despite various alterations.
