Description

This is a house, likely dating from the later 18th century, and altered since its original construction. It is built with white-painted render, possibly over brick, and has a slate roof. The house has a single-depth, single-unit plan with a rear extension.

The exterior is two storeys high with a single window on each floor. A square-headed doorway is located on the right-hand side. On the ground floor, there is a segmental-headed, three-light casement window. Directly under the eaves is a seven-light window of low proportions, featuring a central sliding sash. A ridge chimney is shared with the adjoining property at No. 121.

The interior has not been inspected.

The house is part of a group of similar buildings along Shellfield Road. While each has been altered, they collectively represent the pre-industrial character of the area.
