Description

This is a house, likely dating from the late 18th century, and altered with a 20th-century addition to the right. The exterior is white-painted render, possibly over brick, with a slate roof. It has a small, single-depth, two-unit plan. The front has a single storey and a two-window range, with 20th-century casement windows. The interior was not inspected. The house is part of a group of similar houses along Shellfield Road. While the individual houses have been altered, they collectively represent the pre-industrial character of the area.
