Includes No.2 Ashfield road. Bank. c.1900. For Bank of Liverpool. Red brick with stone dressings and slate roof. 2 storeys with attic, 2 bays to Aigburth Road, canted corner bay and 2 bays to Ashfield Road.1st floor sill course and modillioned cornice. Granite base to Aigburth Road, elliptical-head window flanked by round-headed windows with stone surrounds and rusticated heads. Iron-framed casements. 2 1st floor cross windows with King mullions. Attic has stone coped gable with scrolls and segmental pediment; 3:2:3-light window with king mullions. Ashfield Road facade similar, 4 and 3-light ground floor windows flanking entrance with overlight. 1st floor 3 and 5-light windows. Corner bay has entrance with Tuscan columns and entablature with foliated frieze; tympanum with foliated surround. Canted oriel over has three 2-light windows, cartouche of City arms and octagonal cupola with angle columns, round windows with swags over and cupola with button finial.
