42/27 Entrance gates, corner Aigburth Road and Mossley Hill Drive 14.3.75 (formerly listed under Sefton Park) G.V. II

Entrance screen and gate piers. Circa 1870. André and Hornblower. Central screen wall has 4 granite piers. Central stone panel with Liverpool arms, and pavilion roof and gablet over, flanked by 3-bay cusped arcades. To each side are 2 gate piers with stone capitals and caps, gates removed. 2 lanterns remain. Iron cresting to pavilion roof.
